90cc R/C engine test run

This is a Tecumseh 90cc engine pulled off a Toro s200 snow blower. I removed the flywheel and machined off the back part of the crankshaft where the flywheel mounted. I also drilled and tapped 3/8" NF threads in the front of the PTO shaft. Then I machined a prop hub and timing mount to mount the magnet and hall sensor for electronic ignition. The original carb was a gravity feed one so I had to machine an adapter and installed a Zama diaphragm carburetor from a chainsaw. It swings a 26X10 Prop. Im not sure how much thrust it can produce but I plan on building an Aviat Husky out of aluminum to put this engine in. Most of the aluminum comes from Home Depot and is .008" flashing. A 20"X25' roll costs around . The wing spars will be two pieces of aluminum bent to form a "C" channel then riveted together to form a "i" beam. Two will be used; one near the LE and one near the TE. It's wingspan will be around 10'. Target weight is 25 pounds. The engine weighs just over 7 pounds with ignition, battery, spinner and prop,... basically everything to keep it running weighs over 7 pounds.
